What we collect
When you use LOKL we may collect your Telegram or Google account details (name, profile photo, user id), listings you create, messages you send through the app, approximate location for nearby search, and basic usage data such as pages viewed and actions taken.
How we use it
We use this information to run the marketplace, show listings near you, translate content, connect buyers and sellers, improve the product, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.
Location data
We use your location to sort listings by distance and to show approximate pickup areas. Exact coordinates are privacy-shifted before being shown to other users. You can control location access in your browser or device settings.
Messaging & third parties
Sign-in may use Telegram or Google. Messaging may route through Telegram. Maps and address search may use third-party providers. Those services have their own privacy policies. We share only what is needed to provide LOKL.
Data retention
We keep account and listing data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and support purposes. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
Your choices
You can update your profile, manage listing visibility, and revoke location access. You may delete your account or ask us to remove personal data, subject to legal obligations we must meet.
